Adjustable Bed Sizes vs. Flat bed sizes

Of all the drastic differences between adjustable and flat beds, size is not really one of them when in comparison. What adjustable beds do offer is a greater selection of sizes than flat beds.
An adjustable bed is a significant purchase and much consideration of needs should be given in order to ensure the right bed is purchased. If budget is a consideration, much thought should be given to size because that is a great indicator of cost as larger beds generally cost more. Bed sizes, and cost, are also affected by special options like Wide and Split. Split beds are a very popular choice for some buyers as they allow one side of the bed to move without affecting the other.
There is no size difference between the two beds where there are two bed-types available to compare. Standard adjustable and flat beds start with a Twin size (39” x 75”), then Full (54” x 75”) and followed by Queen (60” x 80”). But the comparison ends there.
With the exception of custom jobs, and other specialized products, that is the limit for flat bed sizes. Adjustable beds, however, extend their available options with a string of additional sizes and mattress options like a memory foam mattress.
In buying an adjustable bed, the consumer also has the option to purchase a Twin XL (38” x 80”), a Full XL (38” x 80”), a Split Queen ( 2 at 30” x 80”), a Split King (two Twin XLs), and a Split California King (two at 36” x 84”).

For added value, buyers should explore these extra options as a bonus over flat bed offerings.
