Improve Your Sleep with an Adjustable Bed

There aren’t many sleep-depriving conditions that an adjustable bed won’t help alleviate.
Most people spend about a third of their lives in bed. So, obviously, its important to maximize the time spent sleeping. A good night’s sleep is as helpful to the body as a poor night’s sleep is detrimental.
Sufferers of conditions from sleep apnea, muscle pain and soreness to acid reflux, poor circulation and asthma and other breathing-related problems have found that adjustable beds help them sleep better.
Adjustable beds provide relief, and improve health, in several different ways directly linked to the movable nature of these high-tech sleep systems. Most adjustable beds have remote controlled mechanisms that allow the segmented bed to be raised or lowered at the head and foot. Some beds offer additional options like heat and massage that have also been shown to improve sleep in many users.
For some people, there isn’t a medical condition behind their sleep discomfort - flat beds just don’t offer enough position-change options. The ability to raise or lower the elevation of the head and foot of the bed is like changing body positions without moving.
When a person gets sore while in bed it’s usually because a pressure point has developed where the inner spring pushes back against the body’s weight for an extended period of time.
An Adjustable Bed, used in conjunction with a body-contouring memory foam mattress, can wholly alleviate the problem. As the adjustable bed is moved to desired body position, the Memory Foam mattress absorbs the body and evenly distributes weight to eliminate pressure points and subsequent soreness. That is sure to result in a fit night’s sleep.
For other conditions, with more serious implications, adjustable beds provide similar relief. Raising the head’s elevation can both reduce symptoms of acid reflux and drain fluid in the lungs to aid breathing. Those contending with poor circulation will find that raising the elevation of the feet will enhance blood flow.
It’s clear, adjustable beds offer wide-ranging sleep benefits to users.
