How good are Amerisleep Mattresses? We’re betting two decades on it.
Amerisleep Mattresses are warrantied for 20 years. A full replacement warranty is honored for the first 10 years and a pro-rated warranty continues for the remaining 10 y ears. The warranty is available to the original purchaser from the date of purchase.
Under the warranty’s terms for the first 10 years, and subject to specified limitations, Amerisleep mattresses will be replaced or repaired without cost to the purchaser should the product be defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects. The decision whether to replace or repair a mattress is at Amerisleep’s discretion.
In a memory foam mattress there is a normal increase in the softness of the mattress material over the years and a decrease in the slow recovery feature of the product. As these changes can occur during break-in, and do not affect the Amerisleep mattress’ pressure relieving qualities, they are not covered under the limited warranty.
At Amerisleep’s option, a defective mattress will be repaired during the pro-rated period subject to a handling charge or the mattress will be replaced based on a pro-rated schedule. The pro-rated charge is determined by by dividing the number of years the mattress was owned by 20 times the original purchase price. All transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be in addition to the pro-rated charges.
The warranty covers deterioration of material cell structure that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than three-fourth of an inch (0.75”). The indentation cannot be associated with a sag in the foundation or bed platform. Splitting or cracking of the material under normal usage and care is also covered.
The warranty will be voided for Amerisleep mattresses used on any foundation or bed platform that is not a solid wood, non-spring, completely flat variety for which an Amerisleep mattress is designed. Proof of the quality and suitability of the mattress foundation will be required in the event of a warranty claim.
Amerisleep reserves the right to refuse repair or replacement of any product deemed to have been abused or that is in an unsanitary condition.
