"My husband was quite skeptical about buying a mattress unseen but I was impressed with the details and reviews so we decided to try it. The very first morning after our first night's sleep he said he liked it! My back took about a week to adjust but after that I liked it too. I like very much that it does not have an off-gassing of chemicals like most mattresses do. Plus it does not sleep hot like the other memory foams do. I'm very glad we bought it."

Tom Ferrantre

"I have purchased (2) AS3 mattresses. One is a Queen the other is a Twin size. We love these mattresses. They are comfortable and no more back aches in the morning. With so many choices for bed-in-a-box mattresses I picked Amerisleep because I liked the fact that they use environmentally friendly materials have a mattress cover that helps your body. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second one. I recommend that you try it for yourself. And if you don't like it you can return it, but I doubt that you will because you will love it."

Laura Poole

"Best sleep of my life. These mattresses are a little more than the other bed in a box mattresses but it was so worth the extra money. The website helps you pick the mattress that is best for you based on how you sleep. It was spot on. I usually have trouble as a side sleeper because my hips and knees hurt from the pressure, but not with this bed. It is just firm enough but also soft enough for the mattress to hug your body a little. I love my mattress and recommend Amerisleep to everyone I know. Customer service over the phone was awesome too, the mattress came earlier than expected, right to my front door."

Anthony Rajchel

“Amerisleep has changed the way I sleep. I wake up refreshed every morning and can’t wait to get back into bed to sleep the next night away. Paired with my weighted blanket I sleep with unmatched comfort. My dog loves it too!! Thanks Amerisleep!!"

Lalo Gutierrez

"I bought the AS3 and it is wonderful. Keeps me cool at night and very comfortable. I get to sleep a lot better than ever. Great mattress!"

Mattress Sizes Available At Fort Worth

Mattress size is an important consideration when choosing a new bed. If you buy something too small, you won’t have enough room to get comfortable. But if you buy something too big, it may make your bedroom feel cramped.

To make the shopping process easier, we break down each mattress size and who they’re recommended for below.

Twin

Dimensions: 38 inches wide and 74 inches long
The twin size mattress is the smallest standard bed size, not counting crib mattresses. Parents often choose a twin size bed for their toddlers, but teenagers and adults of all ages can often enjoy a comfortable night’s rest on a twin mattress. Twin beds don’t take up much space in a small bedroom or studio apartment, and you can increase your space’s potential with a lofted bed frame.

Twin XL

Dimensions 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
The twin XL size mattress is a longer variation of the traditional twin, as the name suggests. People over 6 feet tall may feel cramped on a standard twin, curling their body to have a chance at sleeping comfortably. A twin XL mattress provides the legroom needed for a taller sleeper to stretch out, ensuring their feet don’t hang off the edge.

Full

Dimensions: 54 inches wide and 75 inches long
The full size mattress is a step up from the traditional twin bed, offering 16 more inches of width. With the extra space, you can roll around and stretch out your arms and legs. However, if you want to share the bed with someone else, we recommend choosing a queen or larger.

Queen

Dimensions: 60 inches wide and 80 inches long
The queen size mattress is the most popular size, likely because it’s spacious but not too large. Most couples can comfortably share a queen bed in an average-sized bedroom, and single sleepers can enjoy the sprawling space a queen mattress offers.

King

Dimensions: 76 inches wide and 80 inches long
The king size mattress is the largest size, too big for anything less than a master bedroom. Most people need a room about 12 feet by 12 feet to accommodate a king bed and accompanying bedroom furniture. King mattresses give couples an abundant amount of personal space and even leave room for a small child to occasionally join their parents.

California King

Dimensions: 72 inches wide and 84 inches long
The California king size mattress is essentially a longer version of the traditional king, with the trade-off of being a narrower bed, too. Like the standard king mattress, a California king mattress fits best in a large master bedroom. The added length ensures a taller sleeper is completely buoyed, with plenty of room to stretch their legs.

Split King

Dimensions: Two mattresses, each 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
The split king size mattress is the same size as a traditional king, just divided in half. Separating the bed allows each side to move independently on an adjustable bed. Two people can choose the angle and elevation they prefer without interfering with their partner’s comfort. Companies often let couples choose a different firmness on each side, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick up a mattress at the Amerisleep Arlington mattress store?

Most likely no because we make our mattresses to order. That said, we do sometimes have select mattresses in stock. If we don’t have the mattress you’re looking for, we can have it shipped to your doorstep at no extra charge.

On the other hand, our sleep accessories, such as pillows, sheets, comforters, and blankets, are often available for you to purchase and take home the same day. If you want to know what we currently have in stock, feel free to call us at 682-708-1616!

Is a memory foam mattress from the Amerisleep Arlington mattress store better for side sleepers?

A memory foam mattress is well suited for side sleepers because it conforms to the shoulders and hips, cradling them to relieve pressure and prevent pain. However, it’s important to choose the right firmness. A memory foam mattress that’s too firm will cause pressure points to build up instead of alleviating them. Soft to medium feels are best.

Memory foam mattresses aren’t just well suited for side sleepers, either. A medium-firm to firm mattress can support back sleepers and limit the chances of back pain, while firm mattresses keep a stomach sleeper’s spine neutral.

Can I use any mattress from the Amerisleep Arlington mattress store with an adjustable bed?

Yes, we design all of our mattresses to flex with an adjustable base without sustaining any damage. Memory foam, latex, and hybrid mattresses are usually well-suited for an adjustable bed frame. Alternatively, innerspring mattresses and airbeds can feel uncomfortable or become damaged on an adjustable bed.

Do hybrid mattresses last?

Hybrid mattresses often have a lifespan comparable to well-made foam or innerspring mattresses. The foam base of a hybrid mattress structures the coils and keeps them from sagging with use. The foam top is usually a few inches thick and sturdy enough to still provide comfort years later.

Amerisleep offers a 20-year warranty with every hybrid that covers defects over 0.75 inches. We do this because we’re committed to durable comfort and support.

Are sheets and blankets better than duvets?

Whether you should curl up underneath a blanket and sheet or under a comforter/duvet may depend on your local climate and what time of year it is. It also depends on the bedding’s design, as some blankets and comforters are designed for year-round use while others are made to keep you warm during the winter months.

Our Recover+ Comforter and Allseasons Blanket are designed to feel breathable and keep you at a comfortable temperature no matter the season or weather. Feel free to compare them side by side at our Arlington location.
