VPF. Creating the world’s cleanest foam with our patented process.

Instead of producing foam in an open environment that emits harmful contaminants into the air, we manufacture our beds using Variable Pressure Foaming (VPF), the most eco-friendly process in the world.

VPF emits zero emissions into the atmosphere because of the unique closed design of the chamber. The air that leaves our VPF chamber is sent through carbon filters, which removes harmful chemicals and makes the air cleaner than when it came in. VPF is the only foam creation process that exceeds the requirements of the Clean Air Act.

Our VPF process is free of harsh chemicals, creating foam with incredibly low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Because every variable is computer-controlled inside of the VPF chamber, we create foam with stronger cellular walls to enhance its durability and comfort. Any waste from this process is 100% recycled internally.

To create the most environmentally-friendly mattress, we use plant-based materials cutting out a portion of petroleum used in our foam and an exclusive Variable Pressure Foaming (VPF) manufacturing process which produces zero emissions. Active Flex is our revolutionary foam that we created to be the perfect balance of rapid, adaptive comfort and advanced pressure relief. We use Active Flex near the top of the mattress to aid in your bed actively conforming to you.

HIVE® (Harnessing Intelligent Ventilation & Energy) Technology is clinically shown to reduce pressure points by 49%2. It uses hundreds of six-sided foam cores — grouped into five comfort zones — that expand and contract to provide extra cushion where you want it and support where you need it.

In the comfort zones where you need more cushion, like the shoulders and hips, we put more space between the foam hexagons. This allows them to expand more, so you have the extra “give” you need in those areas to sleep comfortably. And in the zones where you need more support, like the neck and lower back, we put less space between the foam hexagons. This prevents them from expanding too far, and delivers a more supportive feel where necessary.

Also, the space between the hexagon supports helps remove even more heat from the mattress, making our already cool foam even more comfortable.
