"My husband was quite skeptical about buying a mattress unseen but I was impressed with the details and reviews so we decided to try it. The very first morning after our first night's sleep he said he liked it! My back took about a week to adjust but after that I liked it too. I like very much that it does not have an off-gassing of chemicals like most mattresses do. Plus it does not sleep hot like the other memory foams do. I'm very glad we bought it."

Tom Ferrantre

"I have purchased (2) AS3 mattresses. One is a Queen the other is a Twin size. We love these mattresses. They are comfortable and no more back aches in the morning. With so many choices for bed-in-a-box mattresses I picked Amerisleep because I liked the fact that they use environmentally friendly materials have a mattress cover that helps your body. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second one. I recommend that you try it for yourself. And if you don't like it you can return it, but I doubt that you will because you will love it."

Laura Poole

"Best sleep of my life. These mattresses are a little more than the other bed in a box mattresses but it was so worth the extra money. The website helps you pick the mattress that is best for you based on how you sleep. It was spot on. I usually have trouble as a side sleeper because my hips and knees hurt from the pressure, but not with this bed. It is just firm enough but also soft enough for the mattress to hug your body a little. I love my mattress and recommend Amerisleep to everyone I know. Customer service over the phone was awesome too, the mattress came earlier than expected, right to my front door."

Anthony Rajchel

“Amerisleep has changed the way I sleep. I wake up refreshed every morning and can’t wait to get back into bed to sleep the next night away. Paired with my weighted blanket I sleep with unmatched comfort. My dog loves it too!! Thanks Amerisleep!!"

Lalo Gutierrez

"I bought the AS3 and it is wonderful. Keeps me cool at night and very comfortable. I get to sleep a lot better than ever. Great mattress!"

Michael Sullivan

"We bought our mattress online and had an excellent experience. Intially, we bought an A3 mattress but found that it was too soft for our situation. The exchange process was seamless and courteously handled by an informed and professional staff-We exchanged The A3 for an A2 mattress and have been extremely happy with it! It has great support and is so comfortable. Both of Us can wake up without significant pain. In summary the mattress is superb and the service is firstclass- we are pleased with the whole process and will buy an Amerisleep mattress again for our other beds."

Mattress Sizes Available in Colleyville, Texas

Mattress size is an important consideration when choosing a new bed. If you buy something too small, you won’t have enough room to get comfortable. But if you buy something too big, it may make your bedroom feel cramped.

To make the shopping process easier, we break down each mattress size and who they’re recommended for below.

Twin

Dimensions: 38 inches wide and 74 inches long
Twin size mattresses aren’t solely reserved for children’s rooms, with many adults choosing to sleep on one for budget or space reasons. Some sleepers even pair a twin mattress with a lofted bed frame, placing a dresser or desk underneath the bed. Others may invest in two twin mattresses and a bunk bed frame for children or guests.

Twin XL

Dimensions 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
Tall sleepers who feel cramped on a twin size mattress should feel more comfortable on a twin XL mattress. The added legroom keeps feet from hanging over the side and growing cold, potentially improving sleep quality. Twin XL beds are also a good option to keep on hand for visitors in a small guest bedroom.

Full

Dimensions: 54 inches wide and 75 inches long
For people who like to reach out with their arms or lie with their legs splayed across the bed, a twin mattress isn’t wide enough. We would recommend a full size mattress for sleepers who want a spacious mattress that doesn’t take up too much room. However, we can only recommend full size beds for single sleepers. Two partners will have little room to move without bumping into each other.

Queen

Dimensions: 60 inches wide and 80 inches long
Queen size mattresses are enjoyed by single sleepers and couples alike. A queen bed's dimensions offer plenty of space without dominating the average bedroom, leaving room for other bedroom furniture. While many couples enjoy a queen mattress, some might find it too small and prefer a king size mattress instead.

King

Dimensions: 76 inches wide and 80 inches long
Though often recommended as the best mattress for couples, plenty of single adults enjoy a king size mattress. They can stretch and sprawl while awake and freely shift positions without any discomfort. The drawback is that king beds require space and are the priciest mattress size, but the luxurious amount of space is worth it for many sleepers.

California King

Dimensions: 72 inches wide and 84 inches long
For people over 6 and a half feet tall, a standard king size mattress might not be long enough. Such sleepers might need a California king size mattress to fully stretch out. Sleepers who aren’t so tall may still enjoy a California king mattress if they like to keep a bed scarf or throw blanket at the foot of the bed. Like a traditional king, a Cal king is often big and pricy.

Split King Size Mattresses

Dimensions: Two mattresses, 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
Do you want to share a mattress with your partner, but you’re stuck debating whether a mattress is too soft or firm? Split king size mattresses are the perfect solution since each half can usually be customized to offer a different firmness. Dividing the bed in half also promotes more free movement on an adjustable bed frame, letting partners choose their preferred elevation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a mattress from the Colleyville Amerisleep mattress store sag?

It’s not impossible for our mattresses to sag. However, we take every precaution that we can to construct a sag-resistant mattress. We use durable foams that snap back into shape quickly and retain their responsiveness for years. Our steel coils are arranged for uncompromising support and have a sturdy foam base to ensure they stand straight after years of nightly use.

The most likely reason for one of our mattresses to sag is an unsupportive base. If you’re using a slatted foundation, such as a traditional panel bed or a newer platform bed, make sure the slats are no more than 3 inches apart. When the slats are too far apart, the mattress can sink between them and lose its shape, causing damage to the support materials.

What are the advantages of latex mattresses from the Colleyville Amerisleep mattress store?

Our Organica latex mattress offers a versatile medium feel suitable for most sleeping styles. Back, side, and combination sleepers can rest and recover in style on our Organica mattress. The wool and Talalay latex layers, along with the cotton cover, promote a dry, responsive, and plush sleeping surface.

Plus, many shoppers concerned with the environment and the earth choose a latex mattress to reduce their carbon footprint. Our cotton is certified organic by the Global Organic Textile Standard. Meanwhile, the latex and wool have passed the Standard 100 test from OEKO-TEX®, meaning they are both free of harmful chemicals.

Does a hybrid mattress from the Colleyville Amerisleep mattress store require a box spring?

Unlike a traditional innerspring mattress, our hybrid mattresses don’t require a box spring to feel perfectly comfortable and supportive. The same applies to our memory foam and latex mattresses. In fact, you may even damage your Amerisleep mattress if you place it directly on a box spring. The coils inside a box spring are far apart, leaving spaces where the mattress can sag.

If you have a box spring you want to use for more bed height, you can slip a piece of moisture-resistant plywood in between the mattress and box spring. A plywood board cut to size establishes a supportive, even surface, while the moisture-resistant coating prevents mold and mildew from growing.

Can you sleep on an Amerisleep memory foam mattress on the floor?

Technically, yes, you can place any of our mattresses on the floor and sleep comfortably. However, while the floor provides a supportive surface, it’s not without drawbacks. A mattress on the floor is an easy target for dirt, dust, bugs, and other unpleasant things. Meanwhile, a bed frame elevates the mattress and keeps it away from the things that settle on the ground.

We only recommend the floor as a temporary measure while you shop around for a bed frame. While you keep your mattress on the floor, cover it with a protector to limit its exposure to pests, dirt, and dust.

What is the difference between latex foam and memory foam?

Latex and memory foam mattresses are often compared because they feature similar conforming feels. The biggest difference between the two materials is production. Memory foam is produced with synthetic chemicals to create a viscoelastic material. Natural latex is made with rubber tree foam that’s whipped into a foam.

The two materials often feel different to sleepers, too. Many sleepers say that latex feels more buoyant than memory foam, hugging their body less. For some people, this translates into a firmer feel. Whether a latex or memory foam mattress feels more comfortable is primarily a matter of personal preference.
