"My husband was quite skeptical about buying a mattress unseen but I was impressed with the details and reviews so we decided to try it. The very first morning after our first night's sleep he said he liked it! My back took about a week to adjust but after that I liked it too. I like very much that it does not have an off-gassing of chemicals like most mattresses do. Plus it does not sleep hot like the other memory foams do. I'm very glad we bought it."

Tom Ferrantre

"I have purchased (2) AS3 mattresses. One is a Queen the other is a Twin size. We love these mattresses. They are comfortable and no more back aches in the morning. With so many choices for bed-in-a-box mattresses I picked Amerisleep because I liked the fact that they use environmentally friendly materials have a mattress cover that helps your body. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second one. I recommend that you try it for yourself. And if you don't like it you can return it, but I doubt that you will because you will love it."

Laura Poole

"Best sleep of my life. These mattresses are a little more than the other bed in a box mattresses but it was so worth the extra money. The website helps you pick the mattress that is best for you based on how you sleep. It was spot on. I usually have trouble as a side sleeper because my hips and knees hurt from the pressure, but not with this bed. It is just firm enough but also soft enough for the mattress to hug your body a little. I love my mattress and recommend Amerisleep to everyone I know. Customer service over the phone was awesome too, the mattress came earlier than expected, right to my front door."

Anthony Rajchel

“Amerisleep has changed the way I sleep. I wake up refreshed every morning and can’t wait to get back into bed to sleep the next night away. Paired with my weighted blanket I sleep with unmatched comfort. My dog loves it too!! Thanks Amerisleep!!"

Lalo Gutierrez

"I bought the AS3 and it is wonderful. Keeps me cool at night and very comfortable. I get to sleep a lot better than ever. Great mattress!"

Mattress Sizes Available in Frisco, Texas

Mattress size is an important consideration when choosing a new bed. If you buy something too small, you won’t have enough room to get comfortable. But if you buy something too big, it may make your bedroom feel cramped.

To make the shopping process easier, we break down each mattress size and who they’re recommended for below.

Twin

Dimensions: 38 inches and 74 inches
Adults don’t just buy a twin size mattress for their children. Many choose a twin mattress for themselves because they’re trying to stretch out their budget or make the most of a small living space. Some people even purchase a twin size lofted bed frame to maximize floor space. However, most adult sleepers require a mattress wider or longer than a twin for their sleep needs.

Twin XL

Dimensions 38 inches and 80 inches
Twin XL size mattresses are excellent for people who need only a little more space than what a standard twin offers. People over 6 feet tall commonly choose a twin XL mattress because it provides the extra legroom they need for a comfortable night’s rest. People who aren’t over 6 feet tall may still choose to purchase a twin XL bed for a small guest room.

Full

Dimensions: 54 inches and 75 inches
Many single sleepers want to stretch out their arms and legs at night, which a twin mattress isn’t wide enough to allow. However, a full size mattress lets a person sprawl in just about any position without any limbs dangling over the side. Full size mattresses are spacious for solo sleepers but often feel cramped if two people try to share one.

Queen

Dimensions: 60 inches and 80 inches
Shoppers choose queen size mattresses more than any other size, and it’s easy to figure out why. Queen mattresses fit in bedrooms that are too small for king beds yet provide a spacious amount of comfort. While couples often choose a queen mattress, sleepers don’t have to share it with a partner to enjoy the feel of a queen bed.

King

Dimensions: 76 inches and 80 inches
King size mattresses are often the bed of choice for couples. Partners who share a king mattress don’t have to worry about bumping into each other as they sleep or being pushed out of the bed. There’s even space for a small child to join their parents every now and then.

California King

Dimensions: 72 inches and 84 inches
When a tall person’s feet hang over the side of the bed, they’re more prone to chills and other discomfort. Even a standard king bed might not be enough for a person over 6 ½ feet tall. California king size mattresses provide the legroom needed for a good night’s rest. They’re slightly narrower than a king bed, but most people won’t feel cramped on a Cal king mattress.

Split King Size Mattresses

Dimensions: Two mattresses, each 38 inches and 80 inches
Couples often choose a split king size mattress because they disagree on how a mattress should feel. Each side of the split king can have a different firmness, establishing a versatile sleeping surface. Split king mattresses also offer more flexibility than a standard king when placed on an adjustable base. Partners can set their half in a different configuration, increasing the chances for customizable comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I put a mattress from the Euless Amerisleep mattress store on plywood?

Yes, our mattresses can be fully supported by a plywood wood board at least 0.75 inches thick. The plywood board should also have a moisture-resistant coating to prevent mold from growing under your mattress. Plywood boards are a good way to make a traditional bed frame more supportive, but they do restrict airflow more than a set of slats would.

Is it OK to just sleep on a mattress from the Euless Amerisleep mattress store?

While our mattresses are comfortable enough that most people could sleep well on one with a good pillow, we don’t recommend sleeping directly on our mattresses. Lying on our mattresses without a barrier means exposing the bed to the dirt on your body and letting this dirt penetrate the mattress.

Instead, make sure to cover your mattress with a protector to keep out dirt, dust, and liquids. Most mattress protectors aren’t comfortable to lie on, so a set of sheets will give it a plush feel.

What is the most environmentally friendly mattress from the Euless Amerisleep mattress store?

Our most natural mattress would be the aptly named Organica. This mattress contains numerous certified materials, such as all-natural latex, organic cotton, and New Zealand Joma Wool®.

However, that’s not to say that we don’t strive to be eco-friendly with our other mattresses. Every memory foam and hybrid mattress is topped with Bio-Pur® foam, a plant-based material. We use fewer petrochemicals than most memory foam producers to make Bio-Pur®. Our AS2, AS3, and AS5 hybrid mattresses also contain upcycled steel coils.

How do you keep a mattress from sagging?

The best method to keep your mattress sag-free is to ensure a sturdy base supports it. We recommend solid or slatted surfaces for all of our mattresses. Platform beds, bunkie boards, mattress foundations, and adjustable beds should provide sufficient support. Box springs are not suitable for anything that’s not a traditional innerspring mattress.

If you plan to keep your Amerisleep mattress on a slatted surface, double-check that the slats are no more than 3 inches apart. Slats with too-wide gaps leave sections of the mattress unsupported. These sections tend to dip between slats, causing premature sagging.

How often should you change the sheets on an Amerisleep mattress?

For cleaner sleep, we recommend changing your sheets once a week. Swapping out your sheets weekly keeps dirt, dust, and skin cells from building up and causing discomfort. Many sleepers like to have two sets of sheets to make the switch easier.

You can also freshen your mattress up once a month by vacuuming every crevice and sprinkling baking soda across the surface. Baking soda absorbs odors over a few hours and can be vacuumed up once you’re done.
