"My husband was quite skeptical about buying a mattress unseen but I was impressed with the details and reviews so we decided to try it. The very first morning after our first night's sleep he said he liked it! My back took about a week to adjust but after that I liked it too. I like very much that it does not have an off-gassing of chemicals like most mattresses do. Plus it does not sleep hot like the other memory foams do. I'm very glad we bought it."

Tom Ferrantre

"I have purchased (2) AS3 mattresses. One is a Queen the other is a Twin size. We love these mattresses. They are comfortable and no more back aches in the morning. With so many choices for bed-in-a-box mattresses I picked Amerisleep because I liked the fact that they use environmentally friendly materials have a mattress cover that helps your body. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second one. I recommend that you try it for yourself. And if you don't like it you can return it, but I doubt that you will because you will love it."

Laura Poole

"Best sleep of my life. These mattresses are a little more than the other bed in a box mattresses but it was so worth the extra money. The website helps you pick the mattress that is best for you based on how you sleep. It was spot on. I usually have trouble as a side sleeper because my hips and knees hurt from the pressure, but not with this bed. It is just firm enough but also soft enough for the mattress to hug your body a little. I love my mattress and recommend Amerisleep to everyone I know. Customer service over the phone was awesome too, the mattress came earlier than expected, right to my front door."

Anthony Rajchel

“Amerisleep has changed the way I sleep. I wake up refreshed every morning and can’t wait to get back into bed to sleep the next night away. Paired with my weighted blanket I sleep with unmatched comfort. My dog loves it too!! Thanks Amerisleep!!"

Lalo Gutierrez

"I bought the AS3 and it is wonderful. Keeps me cool at night and very comfortable. I get to sleep a lot better than ever. Great mattress!"

Mattress Sizes Available in Jacinto City

Mattress size is an important consideration when choosing a new bed. If you buy something too small, you won’t have enough room to get comfortable. But if you buy something too big, it may make your bedroom feel cramped.

To make the shopping process easier, we break down each mattress size and who they’re recommended for below.

Twin Size Mattress

Dimensions: 38 inches by 75 inches
Children typically sleep on twin mattresses because the beds fit their growing bodies without overcrowding their bedrooms. Many adults choose to sleep on a twin size mattress when they have a limited amount of living space.

Twin XL Size Mattress

Dimensions 38 inches by 80 inches
Parents preparing for their child’s growth spurt during puberty may choose the longer twin XL size mattress. Single adults on the tall side may also feel more comfortable on a twin XL versus a twin or full mattress.

Full Size Mattress

Dimensions: 54 inches by 75 inches
A full size mattress is good for people who want the space to move and sprawl as they sleep. The size is sometimes referred to as a double bed. We only recommend full beds for solo sleepers, as couples will barely have room to turn on a full size mattress.

Queen Size Mattress

Dimensions: 60 inches by 80 inches
A queen size mattress is the smallest mattress size we recommend for couples. A queen mattress is more affordable than a king size mattress and fits in smaller bedrooms. Single sleepers can also enjoy the sprawling space a queen size bed offers.

King Size Mattress

Dimensions: 76 inches by 80 inches
Sleepers who want a large bed may want to consider a king size mattress. However, it’s a size best kept to a large master bedroom. A king size bed in a smaller bedroom may make a room feel cramped.

California King Size Mattress

Dimensions: 72 inches by 84 inches
Sometimes known as the Western King, a California king size mattress is good for people over 6 feet tall. Like the standard king size bed, we advise against using a California king mattress in a small bedroom.

Split King Size Mattress

Dimensions: 76 inches by 80 inches total, composed of two halves each measuring 38 inches by 80 inches
Split king size mattresses are well suited for couples with an adjustable bed. One person can raise the mattress to read, while the other person can lie flat or in their own customized sleeping position. They’re also good for partners who disagree on a bed’s ideal firmness.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a mattress from the Amerisleep mattress store near Jacinto City last?

The average memory foam mattress lasts about 7 years, while a hybrid mattress lasts about 5 to 6 years. However, Amerisleep sources sturdy, quality materials to promote mattress longevity. Our beds should comfortably last decades with care, and we ensure their durability with a 20-year warranty.

You can make sure your mattress lasts by rotating your bed every 3 to 6 months.

What mattress thickness should I get at the mattress store nearby Jacinto City?

Your mattress’s thickness isn’t as important a consideration as its firmness. A mattress’s firmness determines how well it conforms to your body for pressure relief. Different sleep positions have a different ideal firmness range:

  • Side sleepers need a soft to medium mattress. If you’re a side sleeper, try the AS3, AS4, or AS5.
  • Back sleepers should look for a medium-firm to firm mattress or a medium mattress with targeted back support. If you’re a back sleeper, try the AS1, AS2, and AS3.
  • Stomach sleepers require a firm mattress for optimal spinal alignment. If you’re a stomach sleeper, try the AS1.

Thickness is worth considering if you want to ensure your bed is at a good height. To check your bed’s height, sit on the edge of your mattress. Your feet should rest flat on the floor, with your knees level to your hips.

Does the Jacinto City mattress store sell box springs?

No, Amerisleep does not sell box springs. While still a somewhat common accessory, box springs do not provide our mattresses with consistent, even support. The interior coils are too far apart, leaving room for a mattress to dip and lose its shape.

If you want a structure that can slip inside a panel bed and support your mattress like a box spring, consider our mattress foundation. The wooden foundation adds about 8.5 inches to your bed’s height, or 13.5 inches if you use the attachable legs.

If you have a box spring you wish to use with our mattresses for a taller bed, then slip a piece of moisture-resistant plywood in between the box spring and mattress. The plywood should be at least 0.75 inches thick to provide durable, even support for the mattress.

Are box springs obsolete?

Box springs are still useful if you’re buying a traditional innerspring mattress, but we do not recommend using a box spring with any of our beds. A box spring’s interior coils are spaced too far apart to support a memory foam or hybrid mattress—when placed on a box spring, parts of the mattress can sag between the box spring’s coils, causing the mattress to lose its shape.

Even a high-quality foam or hybrid mattress can sag prematurely if improperly supported, forcing you to replace your mattress earlier than you’re ready to.

How long does it take for memory foam mattresses to stop smelling?

It depends on the quality of memory foam. Low-quality memory foam mattresses often are not as responsibly produced as high-quality mattresses, so they’re more likely to smell, and the odor may linger for a few weeks.

The chemical smell of a new memory foam mattress is the result of off-gassing. Off-gassing happens when volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the mattress leftover from production break down at room temperature.

Amerisleep’s mattresses are produced according to CertiPUR-US® regulations. CertiPUR-US® ensures a foam contains low amounts of VOCs for minimal off-gassing. If you notice a smell coming from our mattresses, it should disappear within a few days at most.

How do you get rid of an old mattress?

If you have a mattress you no longer want, try donating or recycling it. Small local charities and shelters often accept gently used mattresses. Some recycling centers will even haul away your old mattress for a nominal charge.

In many areas, you can set your mattress outside for garbage collection. Be sure you read the exact rules and regulations about mattress disposal in your area, as there may be a fine if you do it improperly.

Is a hybrid mattress better than foam?

Many people prefer a hybrid mattress over a pure foam bed. While a foam mattress lets people sink into the bed, a hybrid usually keeps sleepers on top of the bed with its supportive coils. Hybrids often feel more breathable because of their airy coil support, promoting a cool mattress top for hot sleepers.

However, other sleepers might prefer how a foam mattress cradles their body more than a hybrid. A foam mattress is also typically less expensive than a hybrid mattress, making it the better choice for a budget shopper.
