"My husband was quite skeptical about buying a mattress unseen but I was impressed with the details and reviews so we decided to try it. The very first morning after our first night's sleep he said he liked it! My back took about a week to adjust but after that I liked it too. I like very much that it does not have an off-gassing of chemicals like most mattresses do. Plus it does not sleep hot like the other memory foams do. I'm very glad we bought it."

Tom Ferrantre

"I have purchased (2) AS3 mattresses. One is a Queen the other is a Twin size. We love these mattresses. They are comfortable and no more back aches in the morning. With so many choices for bed-in-a-box mattresses I picked Amerisleep because I liked the fact that they use environmentally friendly materials have a mattress cover that helps your body. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second one. I recommend that you try it for yourself. And if you don't like it you can return it, but I doubt that you will because you will love it."

Laura Poole

"Best sleep of my life. These mattresses are a little more than the other bed in a box mattresses but it was so worth the extra money. The website helps you pick the mattress that is best for you based on how you sleep. It was spot on. I usually have trouble as a side sleeper because my hips and knees hurt from the pressure, but not with this bed. It is just firm enough but also soft enough for the mattress to hug your body a little. I love my mattress and recommend Amerisleep to everyone I know. Customer service over the phone was awesome too, the mattress came earlier than expected, right to my front door."

Anthony Rajchel

“Amerisleep has changed the way I sleep. I wake up refreshed every morning and can’t wait to get back into bed to sleep the next night away. Paired with my weighted blanket I sleep with unmatched comfort. My dog loves it too!! Thanks Amerisleep!!"

Lalo Gutierrez

"I bought the AS3 and it is wonderful. Keeps me cool at night and very comfortable. I get to sleep a lot better than ever. Great mattress!"

Mattress Sizes Available in Frisco, Texas

Mattress size is an important consideration when choosing a new bed. If you buy something too small, you won’t have enough room to get comfortable. But if you buy something too big, it may make your bedroom feel cramped.

To make the shopping process easier, we break down each mattress size and who they’re recommended for below.

Twin

Dimensions: 38 inches wide and 74 inches long
A twin size mattress isn’t just for children. Plenty of adults choose a twin bed because they have a limited budget or a small living space, such as a studio apartment. Some people even make the most of a small room by using a bunk bed or lofted bed frame with a twin mattress.

Twin XL

Dimensions 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
Twin XL size mattresses are perfect for adults over 6 feet tall who want a low-cost mattress that fits in a small bedroom. The extra length of a twin XL accommodates more body types than a standard twin, which is also why this size is common in college dorm rooms and small guest rooms.

Full

Dimensions: 54 inches wide and 75 inches long
Full size mattresses are 16 inches wider than a traditional twin mattress. Combination sleepers often enjoy a roomier full mattress because it leaves plenty of space to switch positions. While a full mattress is sometimes known as a double bed, we do not recommend full mattresses for couples. Partners who try to share a full bed often feel cramped or like they’re about to roll off the edge.

Queen

Dimensions: 60 inches wide and 80 inches long
Queen size mattresses are a popular choice because of their versatility. The size fits in most bedrooms while leaving space for other furniture and gives couples room to sleep without feeling cramped. Single sleepers can also enjoy the size of a queen size mattress, and people with larger guest rooms might want to keep a queen bed on hand for visiting couples.

King

Dimensions: 76 inches wide and 80 inches long
King size mattresses are the widest mattress size, measuring more than 6 feet long. The dimensions of a king bed provide plenty of room for couples to stretch out, and even leave space for a small child to occasionally join their parents.

California King

Dimensions: 72 inches wide and 84 inches long
California king size mattresses have the same perimeter as a traditional king, measuring 4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than a traditional king. The added legroom lets taller people stretch out without any worry of their feet hanging over the side. Plus, California king size mattresses are just as luxurious as a standard king bed.

Split King Size Mattresses

Dimensions: Two mattresses, each 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
A split king mattress is an ideal choice for couples considering an adjustable bed frame. You can elevate the mattress's halves independently, so partners can set up their sides at different angles. Many companies also let shoppers customize each half of a split king mattress with a different firmness, allowing people to share a bed without compromising their sleep quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do memory foam mattresses from the Midlothian Amerisleep mattress store smell?

We used plant-based oils in our special Bio-Pur® foam to minimize the chances of off-gassing, which is the reason for a funky “new mattress smell.” Off-gassing occurs when volatile organic compounds (VOCs) break down at room temperature, releasing a smell that disappears within a few days.

Shoppers concerned about memory foam off-gassing can also try our Organica mattress, which contains natural latex foam instead of memory foam.

Should you flip a mattress from the Midlothian Amerisleep mattress store?

No, you shouldn’t flip any of our mattresses because they have a top-to-bottom design. Every mattress has a soft, cushioning layer for comfort and stiffer bottom layers for support. Flipping the mattress means changing the comfort it provides and possibly even flattening the mattress’s cushion.

You also don’t need to rotate our mattresses to keep them in peak condition. We use sturdy, sag-resistant foams and coils to create a consistently supportive surface.

Can I return my mattress to the Midlothian Amerisleep mattress store?

If you’ve bought one of our mattresses and discovered it isn’t the right one for you, there’s no need to return it to any of our store locations. Instead, our customer service team will remotely work with you to donate your unwanted mattress. Once donated, we offer refunds or exchanges.

We do ask customers to try out their mattresses for at least 30 nights before we offer a full refund.

How do I stop my bed from sinking in the middle?

The best way to ensure your mattress doesn’t lose support is to keep it on a bed base with an even surface. While a solid surface may seem like the best idea, they often restrict too much airflow and allow heat to build up in a mattress. Slatted surfaces with slats that are no more than 3 inches apart establish a supportive surface while still letting the mattress air out.

Is a latex mattress better than memory foam?

Because latex foam contours to the body like memory foam, sleepers often compare the two to figure out which suits them more. Latex foam has a more buoyant feel, keeping people on top of the mattress, while memory foam hugs the body. Natural latex tends to have higher production costs than memory foam, so many budget shoppers choose a memory foam bed over a latex mattress.

We offer the Organica mattress, with a medium feel to suit most sleeping styles, for those who prefer latex.
