"My husband was quite skeptical about buying a mattress unseen but I was impressed with the details and reviews so we decided to try it. The very first morning after our first night's sleep he said he liked it! My back took about a week to adjust but after that I liked it too. I like very much that it does not have an off-gassing of chemicals like most mattresses do. Plus it does not sleep hot like the other memory foams do. I'm very glad we bought it."

Tom Ferrantre

"I have purchased (2) AS3 mattresses. One is a Queen the other is a Twin size. We love these mattresses. They are comfortable and no more back aches in the morning. With so many choices for bed-in-a-box mattresses I picked Amerisleep because I liked the fact that they use environmentally friendly materials have a mattress cover that helps your body. I liked the first one so much that I purchased a second one. I recommend that you try it for yourself. And if you don't like it you can return it, but I doubt that you will because you will love it."

Laura Poole

"Best sleep of my life. These mattresses are a little more than the other bed in a box mattresses but it was so worth the extra money. The website helps you pick the mattress that is best for you based on how you sleep. It was spot on. I usually have trouble as a side sleeper because my hips and knees hurt from the pressure, but not with this bed. It is just firm enough but also soft enough for the mattress to hug your body a little. I love my mattress and recommend Amerisleep to everyone I know. Customer service over the phone was awesome too, the mattress came earlier than expected, right to my front door."

Anthony Rajchel

“Amerisleep has changed the way I sleep. I wake up refreshed every morning and can’t wait to get back into bed to sleep the next night away. Paired with my weighted blanket I sleep with unmatched comfort. My dog loves it too!! Thanks Amerisleep!!"

Lalo Gutierrez

"I bought the AS3 and it is wonderful. Keeps me cool at night and very comfortable. I get to sleep a lot better than ever. Great mattress!"

Michael Sullivan

"We bought our mattress online and had an excellent experience. Intially, we bought an A3 mattress but found that it was too soft for our situation. The exchange process was seamless and courteously handled by an informed and professional staff-We exchanged The A3 for an A2 mattress and have been extremely happy with it! It has great support and is so comfortable. Both of Us can wake up without significant pain. In summary the mattress is superb and the service is firstclass- we are pleased with the whole process and will buy an Amerisleep mattress again for our other beds."

Mattress Sizes Available in Colleyville, Texas

Mattress size is an important consideration when choosing a new bed. If you buy something too small, you won’t have enough room to get comfortable. But if you buy something too big, it may make your bedroom feel cramped.

To make the shopping process easier, we break down each mattress size and who they’re recommended for below.

Twin

Dimensions: 38 inches wide and 74 inches long
Twin size mattresses are the smallest mattress size, providing a good night’s rest without taking up too much space. The size is perfect for sleepers living on limited finances or in a smaller space, like a studio apartment. Some people even squeeze two twin mattresses into a room, using the space as a children’s room or guest bedroom.

Twin XL

Dimensions 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
Twin XL size mattresses are an excellent choice for taller sleepers who want a compact mattress. The extended length supports a person’s legs, while a standard twin mattress might leave a sleepers’ feet dangling over the side. College dormitories often contain a twin XL mattress instead of a traditional twin to accommodate more body types.

Full

Dimensions: 54 inches wide and 75 inches long
Many sleepers can’t sprawl as much as they like on a twin bed. For single sleepers who want more space without overcrowding their bedroom, we recommend full size mattresses. The size is sometimes referred to as a double bed, but this name can be misleading. A full or double mattress is only suitable for single sleepers, with two people likely to bump into each other.

Queen

Dimensions: 60 inches wide and 80 inches long
Queen size mattresses are just wide enough to fit two people comfortably but not so wide that they can’t fit into the average bedroom. Overall, it’s the most popular size, providing single sleepers with plenty of sprawling space and couples with room to feel close, but not too close. Some partners may prefer a king mattress, though.

King

Dimensions: 76 inches wide and 80 inches long
Couples who feel cramped on a queen size mattress might want to upgrade to the much broader king size mattress. With 16 extra inches of width, a king size bed can easily accommodate two adults. There’s even room for a small child to join their parents occasionally.

California King

Dimensions: 72 inches wide and 84 inches long
California king size mattresses are the longest mattress size and designed to provide taller sleepers with a more comfortable experience. A person over 6 feet tall often can’t stretch out to their full height, even on a king size mattress. A California king mattress's added legroom makes it easier to relax while still providing plenty of space for two sleepers.

Split King Size Mattresses

Dimensions: Two mattresses, 38 inches wide and 80 inches long
Split king size mattresses are excellent for couples with an adjustable bed since the separate halves can be set at contrasting heights. Many mattress companies also offer split king mattresses with a different firmness on each side, allowing couples to share a bed without compromising on their comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose a mattress topper at the Sunnyvale Amerisleep mattress store?

Our Lift topper comes in soft and firm feels, so the right topper for you will depend on your sleeping style. We recommend our soft Comfort topper for side sleepers who need to revitalize a mattress that’s not plush enough to provide pressure relief.

Our Support topper is perfect for back and stomach sleepers who need more firm support from their current mattress—it’s beneficial if they’re waking up sore or stiff. No matter what mattress topper you choose, it’s backed by a 5-year warranty.

What do I look for when buying a memory foam mattress from the Sunnyvale Amerisleep mattress store?

Since we offer memory foam mattresses in five firmnesses, the most important thing to know is how your sleeping style determines what will feel most comfortable to you. Sleep position is an essential consideration, with side sleepers typically preferring a softer mattress than back and stomach sleepers. If you switch between positions, we recommend our medium-feel AS3 mattress.

Your body type is another significant consideration when mattress shopping. Why is that, you might ask. Well, your weight affects how much pressure you place on a mattress. For example, firmer beds tend to conform more to a plus-size sleeper than a petite individual.

What can I put under my mattress from the Sunnyvale Amerisleep mattress store?

Our mattresses need consistent support to stay in good condition. Solid surfaces or foundations with slats no more than 3 inches apart are good choices, as are adjustable bed frames. If you have a traditional bed frame, double-check how far apart the slats are—if they’re too far to create a supportive surface, you can usually buy a pack of slats or a plywood board from a home improvement store.

We don’t recommend putting any of our mattresses on top of a box spring. This is because box springs aren’t designed to create a consistently even surface. Manufacturers space the coils inside a box spring to align with the coils of a traditional innerspring mattress. The gaps between a box spring’s coils create spaces where a foam or hybrid mattress is likely to sag.

Is it bad to sleep on a bare mattress?

Our mattresses are designed to feel completely comfortable on their own. However, sleeping without sheets or a protector can impact your mattress’s durability. A mattress protector and sheet set provide a barrier against sweat, dead skin cells, dirt, and dust. Sweat can stain your mattress and leave an unpleasant smell, while dust, dirt, and other allergens can trigger symptoms if they collect inside the mattress.

Protectors keep allergens, liquids, and pests from penetrating a mattress. Sheets provide an additional barrier and increase the surface’s comfort. Washing your sheets every week also prevents dirt, skin cells, and other debris from accumulating and settling inside the mattress.

Can I put a comforter inside a duvet cover?

You can absolutely slip a comforter inside a duvet cover. While a comforter can be used on its own, pairing it with a duvet cover makes it easier to keep it clean—a duvet cover is usually easier to fit into a home washing machine than a comforter or duvet. Simply wash the duvet cover about once a week, and clean the comforter about once a season.

We even sell a percale cotton duvet cover in different styles you can use with our Recover+ Comforter. You can choose from a solid or striped cover in light or dark gray.
