We want you to have as much time as possible to test your mattress, so your trial doesn’t begin until it arrives at your doorstep. If you’ve also ordered an adjustable bed, the trial won’t begin until both items have arrived.
Your mattress ships compressed in eco-friendly packaging. When it arrives, unroll it and let it expand for at least 4-6 hours before sleeping on it. Note it can take up to 24 hours for the mattress to fully expand.
While most of our customers experience deeper and more restful sleep right away, sometimes your body needs to adjust to a new mattress. This “adjustment cycle” is common, so we ask that you test your new bed for at least 30 nights to make sure you’ve experienced the best it has to offer.
This will give you a far more accurate evaluation of the mattress compared to 10 minutes in a cold showroom, with a salesman hovering over your shoulder while you try to relax.

Just contact us by phone or email, we will process a full refund for you and even arrange to have your mattress picked up for free — you don’t even have to worry about keeping the box or shipping the mattress back. We’ll make sure your mattress is either donated to a local charity or recycled.
After your 100-night trial is over, your mattress is still covered for two decades by our best-in-class warranty for any issues related to craftsmanship and quality. Should anything go wrong during the first 10 years, your entire purchase is covered. If you experience an issue during the second 10 years, you’re covered for a prorated amount based on how long you’ve owned your mattress.

All of our mattresses are backed by a risk-free, 100-night Sleep Trial. All that we ask is that you try the mattress for at least 30 nights.
The following items do not qualify for the 100-night Sleep Trial and are not eligible for returns: Adjustable beds, foundations, toppers, sheets, pillows, sofa beds, protectors or any other accessories.
If you’re not completely satisfied with your mattress after giving yourself at least 30 nights to adjust, just call or email our Customer Service team within 100 days of receiving your mattress. We will arrange to have your mattress picked up for free a donation center or recycler, and process a full refund within 5-7 business days of the pickup.
With our 100 night Sleep Trial, your home is our showroom.
The primary reason we’re able to make Amerisleep mattresses so affordable is because we sell directly to our customers, instead of using expensive distributors and middlemen. However this means we don’t have a network of showrooms around the country.
Because we know how important it is for you to try your new mattress before you commit to it though, we offer a risk-free, 100-night trial instead. This allows you to experience the mattress in a way that you never could in a cold showroom with a salesperson hovering over your shoulder. And once you get to try your mattress, if you’re not satisfied for any reason, we will arrange to have it picked up for free and give you a full refund.

Yes. Exchanges are available for your Amerisleep mattress during the 100-night trial period. To request an exchange, call us or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we haven't shipped your mattress yet, we will simply update your order and process the difference to your credit card. After we ship your order, we ask that you try the mattress for at least 30 nights before requesting an exchange. That way you will know for sure making an exchange is the right decision. Sometimes our customers think they need to make an exchange initially, until they get used to the mattress they ordered and realize it was the best choice all along.
No, you don’t. Before the mattress is packed in its box, it gets compressed in our factory. Even if you kept the box, there’s no way you’d be able to get the mattress back inside after opening it, so feel free to recycle it.
It depends on where you are located. We work with different donation centers and furniture recycling companies throughout the country. Based on where you live, we will choose the most convenient group for you and have you coordinate the pickup based on your schedule. We can even handle this process if you don't want to.
Unfortunately we do not accept returns for orders where you mistakenly purchased the wrong size. Please double-check that you’ve chosen the correct size before checking out. If the mattress is unopened we may be able to issue a call tag, but processing this request will make you subject to a 15% restocking fee.
