90-night sleep trial

We know buying a new mattress is a personal experience, and we want you to be happy with your purchase. While we strive to match customers with the best mattress the first time, you can rest easy knowing that you can exchange or return your mattress if necessary. If you are not satisfied with your mattress, ship it back to us within 90 days for a full refund. Adjustable beds, foundations, and accessories do not have a trial period and are not eligible for return.

when does the trial begin?

Your "90-Night Pursuit of Sleep Happiness" sleep trial begins the day you receive your new mattress and you have until the 90th day to return your mattress.

what do i do if i want to exchange or return my mattress during my trial?

• If you would like to return or exchange, after 30 days of trying your Amerisleep mattress, call our amazing customer service team and we'll discuss your concerns and suggest the best possible solution based on your specific needs.
• Prior to returning your mattress, you must contact us to receive a Return Authorization Number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
• The only expense you are responsible for is shipping the mattress back to our warehouse.
• Please note: All beds must be returned in like-new condition - no holes, stains or odors (such as cigarette smoke).
• Please measure your bed frame or platform and make sure you order the correct size. We do not accept returns for incorrectly ordered mattresses.

easy return packaging instructions

• Either double bag (using mattress bags), or bag & box the mattress (using a mattress bag and box).
• Tape the edges of the mattress bag(s) closed securely making sure the entire mattress does not come free of the packaging and will remain protected by the mattress bag / box.
• Write your Name and RMA# clearly in a visible place on the outside of the packaging.

Amerisleep Mattresses are warrantied for a period of TWENTY (20) years. The warranty is comprised of Ten (10) years full replacement warranty for the first 10 years and Ten (10) years pro-rated warranty for last 10 years, provided to the original purchaser from the date of original purchase. Your Amerisleep mattress will be replaced or repaired at our option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during the first Ten (10) years subject to limitation specified in this warranty. It is understood that this limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the mattress material or decrease in the slow recovery feature-aspects which do not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. These are normal characteristics of the foam that can occur during the breaking in and do not imply a defect.

During the pro-rated period, at our option, we will repair your mattress subject to a handling charge or replace the mattress based on a pro-rate schedule. The pro-rated charge will be as follows: the number of years you have owned the mattress divided by twenty (20), times the original purchase price. All transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be in addition to the pro-rated charges.

This warranty covers deterioration in the cell structure of the materials that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than three-fourth (0.75”) of an inch, not associated with a sag in the foundation or bed platform. Defects resulting in splitting or cracking of the material, with normal usage and proper handling, are also covered. Amerisleep mattresses have been designed to be used on a solid wood, non-spring, completely flat foundation or bed platform. A box spring may be used in combination with a 3/4" plywood surface in order to fulfill the warranty requirements. Substitution or use of improper foundations, platforms, box springs or other bases upon which the mattress is placed is not acceptable and will void your Amerisleep mattress warranty and all other warranties expressed or implied. In the event of a warranty claim, you may be required to provide proof of the quality and suitability of the mattress foundation being provided to your mattress.

All warranties contained herein shall not apply if the mattress, foundation, or cover has been physically abused, damaged, burned, moisture saturated, cut or torn. Amerisleep reserves the right to refuse repair or replacement of any product deemed to be in an unsanitary condition. This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the product. If the original purchaser sells the product, the subsequent purchaser takes the product "as is" and "with all faults." Warranty claims are to be made at the point of purchase directly through the original dealer. Proof of Purchase is required for all warranty claims. 20-Year Warranty

Year 1: Full Warranty:
Your Ergomotion Adjustable base is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase to the original Purchaser. During the first year Ergomotion will repair or replace, at no cost to the original Purchaser and defective part. This includes all authorized labor and transportation costs incurred with the repair or replacement of any part found to be defective.

Year 2: Motor Warranty:
Your Ergomotion Adjustable base has a two year, full replacement warranty on parts, installation and transportation on the motors should your motors fail during the first two years of this warranty from the original purchase date.

Years 2-5: Warranty:
During years 2 through 5 from the original purchase date, Ergomotion will replace any part on the adjustable base found to be defective, to the original Purchaser. Liability of Ergomotion is limited to the replacements of the defective part(s) ONLY with the Purchaser responsible for installation, and transportation cost of said part(s).

Years 6-20: Limited Warranty:
During years 6 through 20 from the original purchase date, Ergomotion will replace, within the terms and conditions set forth in this paragraph, any Ergomotion Adjustable base part(s) found to be defective. Purchaser shall pay 1/180 of the current replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of months after the fifth year, from the original purchase date. This warranty applies only to the replacement part(s); Purchaser may be subject to charges for said parts to include, but not limited to, freight charges. Liability of Ergomotion shall be limited to the replacement of the defective part(s) ONLY with the Purchaser responsible for all service, installation and freight cost for said part(s).

Additional Terms and Conditions:
Warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, removal, part(s) installation, bed set up, loss of use, shipping or any other costs or expenses not expressly covered in this warranty.

This warranty does not apply:

• To the damage resulting from misuse or abuse caused by the Purchaser.
• To the damage caused by repairs or parts replacement by an unauthorized person.
• If the Ergomotion Adjustable Base has been mishandled (including during shipping), subject to physical abuse or an improper power supply, or the Owner’s Manual and this warranty.
• To damaged mattresses, bedding cables, electrical cords or accessories supplied by dealers.
• Modification of the Ergomotion Adjustable Base without prior written consent by Ergomotion.
• To costs for unauthorized service calls for the purpose of educating the consumer about the Ergomotion Adjustable Base or locating proper functioning outlets.
• If the recommended weight restrictions are exceeded.
• If used in any environment or a commercial setting which was not intended.

Some states do not allot the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the above limitation or exclusion may not apply. The warranty gives the Purchaser specific legal rights. The Purchaser may have other rights which may vary from state to state. This warranty is valid in all 50 states.

Lifetime Warranty

Leggett & Platt© adjustable beds feature a lifetime manufacturer warranty against defects in materials or workmanship with superior service and support. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only. Your adjustable bed includes a Warranty registration card that MUST be returned within 30 days of receipt of product. For systems with DC Motors:

• 1 Year Full Warranty
• 2 Year Parts Only Warranty
• Lifetime Limited on Mechanics (Excludes Electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors)

• 1 Year Full Warranty
• 5 Year Parts Only Warranty
• Lifetime Limited on Mechanics (Excludes Electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors)
